University of Fredericton delegation strengthens relations with Wittenborg University through recent visit
Members of the University of Fredericton faculty and Board of Directors were recently hosted by Wittenborg University, a university located in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands. Wittenborg offers a series of bachelors and masters level programs, and the university emphasizes five key themes: management, internationalisation, diversity, sustainability, and innovation.
The delegation from the University of Fredericton included Board Chairman Kjetil Sandermoen, Director and President Don Roy, and Provost Dr. Kenneth Green. Dr. James Bowen, a faculty member at the Sandermoen School of Business and at the University of Ottawa, was also in attendance. Dr. Bowen is part of an international team of developers working with Wittenborg University to create the world’s first gaming-based MBA.
During the visit, UFred representatives met with Wittenborg’s Board of Executives to discuss the possibility of future opportunities for collaboration. UFred has a demonstrated commitment to partnering with innovative organizations and industry leaders to deliver education that is relevant and applicable to students.
