UFred Students Participate in Second International Field Study (IFS) Program

For a second year, students at the Sandermoen School of Business are currently participating in the International Field Study (IFS) program.

The IFS is a part of the Global Capstone Project and is being held in Amsterdam.  Students will develop a deeper understanding of the complexity of doing business in the global economy and will apply concepts and theories to real-world business scenarios.

A relevant, unique, and engaging array of subjects will be covered by experts in the field:

Dr. Steve Kennedy – Implications of global sustainability
Prof. Dr. Johan Wempe – Legal/ethical decision behavior
Dr. Li – Data and competitive intelligence
Prof. Dr. Desiree van Gorp – Biggest risk facing the world in 2017
Dr. Bob Dyson – Managing multi-cultural teams.
Dr. Johnathan Speilberg-Custom Manufacturing and Fulfilment Logistics 
Prof. Dr. Harry Geerlings – Supply Chain Management and Logistics
Pieter van Gent, Invest Holland – Doing business in Holland.
Dr. Jacques de Swart- Risk Management for strategic planning

Students will also hear from University of Fredericton (UFred) Provost, Dr. Kenneth Green and UFred founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kjetil Sandermoen.

This program offers a truly unique perspective to Sandermoen School of Business students who are completing their postgraduate studies in UFred’s fully online environment. The program is available to Executive MBA students exclusively, and will be complete on August 8, 2017.
