The University of Fredericton (UFred) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sanskriti University in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India, that will expand scholarly, research and educational ties.
In addition, UFred signed an MOU with the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) in Ghaziabad, India, on academic collaboration that will focus on research, faculty and student exchange.
The partnership aims to further mutual interests and promote academic collaboration, promotion, and facilitation of educational programs by each of the partner institutions.
“We’re pleased to extend our reach into India and look forward to the outcomes of these important partnerships,” said Dr. Sheri McKillop, Vice President of Academics at UFred.
Participation in this endeavour included UFred strategic partner Dr. Vaneeta Aggarwal, Director of iAcuire Consulting LLP, an organization that advises on higher education collaborations with Indian universities and institutes.
UFred’s senior leadership team will be visiting India in December to meet with our partners and attend an international conference organized by IMS Ghaziabad.
