The UFred Campus: your new virtual home

All of the programs at UFred are delivered completely online, making the UFred online campus a virtual hub for academics, collaboration, and communication. The campus and classes are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, online requiring internet access.

A fully online curriculum gives students the flexibility to learn at home, at the office or any other location with Internet access, with no disruption to their work. Studying online also offers students the flexibility to study at their own pace, while providing enough structure to keep them on track in achieving their educational goals. The online campus connects students to resources and supports to allow for success in whatever program they pursue.

In September 2017, UFred professor Robert Montgomery had the distinct honor of becoming the National Education Director for the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and a member of the CSSE Board of Directors.

As a mother of 3-teenage boys, working full-time at a hospital and running my own company, I needed something that was flexible enough to fit into the few free hours I had. Distance learning was attractive and seemed to be the only option that fit. Once I decided on an MBA, at that time, the University of Fredericton (UFred) was the only 100% online program, and I applied right away.

At UFred, online learning is how busy professionals achieve a higher education without losing career momentum. Despite never meeting in person, many students report creating lasting bonds and networking opportunities with their peers.
