What are the benefits of continuing my education with CSU?

At UFred, we know our students are lifelong learners looking for applied education that will help them to elevate their careers. Through this unique Academic Pathway, CSU offers UFred students the ability to build on the education they have obtained at UFred

Some of the core benefits of the Academic Pathways with CSU for UFred students include:

  • UFred students and graduates receive a 10% tuition discount at CSU

  • UFred students qualify for some exclusive scholarship opportunities

  • The UFred Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (AOHS) program has been mapped to the CSU Bachelor of Science in occupational safety and health, allowing students to transfer up to 33 credits into the CSU bachelor’s program

CSU’s bachelor’s and master’s in OSH have been recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals as Qualified Academic Programs (QAPs). QAP graduates may apply for the Graduate Safety Practitioner® designation. Holders of this designation may bypass the Associate Safety Professional (ASP®) exam prior to taking the Certified Safety Professional (CSP®) exam.
