University of Fredericton launches two new online business degree programs for working professionals

FREDERICTON, June 6, 2023 — The University of Fredericton (UFred) is proud to announce the launch of its new online Associate Degree in Business Administration (ADBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs. These new degree-level programs, which are fully accredited by the Province of New Brunswick under the Degree Granting Act, will leverage the power of online learning to provide students with a comprehensive and engaging education, developing skills that they can use in real-time to build their careers and become successful professionals.

Designed to meet the needs of today’s ever-evolving business environment, UFred’s programs connect core business foundations with real-world context. Students will be provided with a blend of rigorous theoretical and applied learning that develops the managerial competencies required to succeed in today’s unique workforce. Each course is designed and delivered by highly trained and exceptionally qualified faculty who are both academic and industry experts in their fields.

The program structure consists of a compilation of required core courses, general education electives, required specialization courses, elective specialization courses, and a program capstone. This structure allows students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills needed for success while still providing them with the flexibility to build their own personalized educational paths. Students who successfully complete their BBA programs at UFred while working will then be eligible to apply to the fully online MBA program.

“We are proud to offer our students the opportunity to gain a well-rounded education in business fundamentals through this innovative program,” said Dr. Sheri McKillop, VP of Academics of UFred, “At UFred we strive to provide lifelong learning paths for our students that are both academically rigorous and highly practical. Our ADBA and BBA programs do just that by connecting core business foundations with real-world context.”

UFred is committed to helping individuals reach their goals through accessible online programs that build in-demand skills and provide insight into today’s global business environment. With its new degree programs in business administration, UFred is empowering students by giving them access to quality educational opportunities from wherever they are located across Canada or around the world – making it easier than ever for aspiring professionals to reach their full potential and succeed in today’s competitive market.
