As a result of a partnership between Canadian Public Community Colleges, Husson University and the University of Fredericton, students holding a diploma from a Canadian Public Community College can now take advantage of a career enhancing opportunity to transfer their diploma credits and apply them toward a Bachelor Degree from Husson University.

Students who have graduated from tany Canadian Public Community College may now apply to enroll in a Diploma-to-Degree program, completely online. Husson University in Maine has developed - in cooperation with Canadian Public Community Colleges and the University of Fredericton - an online Diploma-to-Degree program for community college business graduates. Students may transfer their credits to Husson University and be able to complete a four-year Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
Students will be able to complete the program from their homes, offices or any other location with access to the Internet, by taking as few as 10 eight-week courses. As the online courses are delivered through the University of Fredericton, graduates of the program will also receive a Certificate in Advanced Studies from the University of Fredericton.
CGA Recognition The Certified General Accountants Association (CGA) recognizes Husson University Business Administration graduates as satisfying the CGA degree requirement!
Accreditation Husson University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), one of the top accreditation agencies in North America. The Husson University business degree is also accredited by the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), which is accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Tuition may be paid course-at-a-time, in Canadian funds, payable to the University of Fredericton. Each course is 3 credit hours and the cost per credit hour is $473, resulting in the tuition fee of $1,419 for each three credit hour course.
Timeline Each course is eight weeks in duration and will require 10 - 12 hours of coursework per week. Courses begin in January, March, June, August, and October. When college credit transfers have been applied, students awarded the maximum credit transference can obtain their degree by completing 10 online courses, in as quickly as one year.

Bursary The University of Fredericton (UFred), in partnership with Husson University, has announced a Canadian Bursary which has been made available to Canadian college graduates who enroll in the Husson/UFred online Diploma-to-Degree program. Bursary recipients must be Canadian citizens and those qualifying are eligible to receive a credit of $400.00 CDN per course toward tuition, amounting to a total bursary of $4,000 over the typical 10 course program. Course Information Students interested in obtaining a Bachelor degree in Business Administration must have a diploma in the field of Business from a Canadian Public Community College. Students accepted into the program will receive up to a maximum of 90 credits (or 30 courses, which is the equivalent of three years of full time study) for their completed program diploma. Students awarded the maximum prior credit will be required to complete 10 courses (30 credits) through Husson University. Five courses will pertain to specialized studies in the chosen field of study; the remaining five courses are comprised of a variety of general education courses.

How many diploma courses will be accepted toward a Bachelor degree?
Upon review of your transcript, Husson University will accept up to 30 courses (or 90 credits) toward a Bachelor degree. This is the equivalent of three years of full-time study at a traditional university. The exact number of transfer courses or credits will be determined as part of the evaluation of your transcript and your application.
How many credits or courses must I complete through Husson University?
Students awarded the maximum transfer of credits (90) must complete 10 courses through Husson University. Students must maintain a minimum grade of "C" in their specialized courses and a minimum grade point average of 2.0 (or a grade of "C") overall in the program in order to receive their Bachelor degree.
Are there any other requirements for the Bachelor degree?
You must meet the Husson University general education requirements. Your advisor will determine which of these you have already met through your course work at the community college you attended. You will also be required to complete the "Educational Testing Service Major Field Test". Your scores on this test will not affect your admission to the program, nor will your score impact the awarding of your degree. What is the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Major Field Test in Business Administration?
The ETS Major Field Test is a comprehensive assessments outcome designed to measure the critical knowledge and understanding of students obtained in a major field of study. It measures the students' factual knowledge and ability to analyze and solve problems, understand relationships and interpret material from their major field of study.
This test enables an institution to evaluate their students' performance and compare the program's effectiveness to those at similar institutions nationwide.
