UFred’s Sandermoen School of business recently participated at an international MBA Event held in Mumbai, India with numerous, top-ranked business schools from around the world. The invitation only event, which is organized by Paris-based ACCESS MBA, connects pre-screened and academically qualified individuals with accredited university MBA and EMBA degree programmes for one-on-one meetings with school representatives.
As the only fully online University in attendance, Sandermoen was well poised to offer an exciting alternative to those seeking to further their education without disrupting their personal or professional lives. Sandermoen programs offer online global networking and collaboration that can be particularly beneficial to those who are looking for more diverse perspectives, but do not wish to leave their current positions.
“Our programs are designed to connect students, enhancing their global perspectives and critical thinking abilities” said Don Roy, President of the University of Fredericton “The ability to do all of this online substantially increases the opportunities for learning for students in India and around the world.”
Sandermoen is pleased to become involved in the growth of the post-secondary educational sector within India, and looks forward to participating in events such as these in the future.
In addition to the ACCESS MBA event, University of Fredericton representatives were pleased to also be able to meet with Mr. Abhinav Bhatia, Trade/Education and Innovation Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada office in Mumbai. The meeting was a valuable opportunity to learn about India’s pressing and important post-secondary educational needs and national initiatives that Canadian universities might find as a contributive and rewarding role in addressing.
