Why This Program Is Needed Employers are seeking business leaders and analysts who have strong business analytics skills. However, of equal importance, they need candidates with functional knowledge and industry-specific experience that they can leverage when making data-driven decisions. The ability to gain necessary business acumen and analytical skills while continuing to work full-time and gain industry experience is invaluable, and will put students in a position to propel their careers forward before even finishing their degrees.
For Whom This Program Is Designed The Sandermoen online MBA with a specialty stream in Business Analytics Leadership is designed for early-career professionals and managers of medium to large companies who aspire to lead their companies toward much higher performance. It begins with coverage of fundamental management essentials such as financial, analytical, and decision-making skills, as well as knowledge of an organization’s core functions and interactions. This business knowledge is then integrated into three specific Business Analytics specialty courses that explore principles of analytics, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and advanced topics in analytics and big data. Students then move into the final course, an Integration Project, which serves as the capstone of the program. All courses are offered in an interactive learning model that encourages collaboration, allowing professionals from across industries with varying levels of expertise to engage and learn from each other, as well as from professors.
Our goal is to prepare advanced-career business managers and analysts for senior managerial positions, and to prepare them for success in those positions, all without interrupting their career momentum. To accomplish our educational goal, we employ a variety of educational tools and techniques (including some of the most advanced online teaching and learning applications available), and a carefully designed suite of courses delivered in a focused and flexible schedule.
Timeline There are fourteen courses: ten foundation courses, three specialization courses, and one capstone integration project (see Curriculum below). Courses are completed in an eleven-week, fixed-agenda format. If courses are taken in a typical eleven-week, fixed-agenda format, the duration of the MBA program is three years, six months. Students are also able to take two courses at a time through the duration of their foundation courses, allowing them to complete the program in as little as two years, completely online.
The Online Experience To maximize the global learning experience throughout the program, our students will participate in “live” seminars and/or conferences with experienced leaders from global organizations. Our students and faculty are not limited by geographical boundaries, providing a new educational experience that allows learners to think with a global perspective while working on case studies and projects with other colleagues from around the world.

Tuition for the Master of Business Administration Degree Program is $19,000 CAD. Students may pay tuition course-at-a-time or by installment. More information can be found on the Tuition section of our website.
